FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
HATLINE PRODUCTIONS’ SLAMDANCE-WINNING PROJECT,
THE FALL, ADDS VINK INTERNATIONAL PRODUCTIONS
Robert B. Vink, of Vink International Productions (VIP), has joined Stephanie Bell, Tamra Teig and Michael Lipoma, partners of Hatline Productions, in producing THE FALL, a female-driven spy drama feature woven into the historic events that led to the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Vink, an honor's graduate in Broadcast Journalism from Loyalist College, spent the first 20 years of his career in Canada as a journalist for radio, television, and documentaries, before moving to the Netherlands to become Senior Editor for one of the world's largest publishers, Reed Elsevier, where he was responsible for the creation, buying and selling of digital content around the globe.
He transitioned into film three years ago, starting his own production company, Vink International Productions. His projects have won 12 film festival awards, a Hollywood Music in Media Award, and received over 30 award nominations, including a Grammy.
Vink said he felt drawn to the story of THE FALL, an award-winning script, including Slamdance Best Feature script and Grand Prize awards, the PAGE Silver Award for Drama, and Creative World Award’s best Family Feature.
"When I read the script, I was absolutely hooked. The Fall is a story of ordinary people doing extraordinary things at one of the most pivotal moments in modern history. It captivates your imagination and keeps you at the edge of your seat, cheering Emma on to victory."
As part of the Hatline Team, Vink is leveraging his extensive international investor and development contacts as the project moves into pre-production.
