Our Story

Stephanie, Tamra, and Michael's chance meeting led to a collaboration agreement within thirty minutes. Our partnership started with a handshake, and since 2010 we've never needed anything more. We believe that everyone's best potential can be reached when we focus on what we give to a project, putting the project's needs at the top of every list. HatLine Productions is a rewarding, fun place to work. We believe success is the natural by-product of treating each other and our partners with respect, honesty, and integrity.

Our Name

Performing improv at Renaissance fairs taught us one thing: in order to succeed, we must craft the entire audience experience so that it leads unexpectedly and inevitably to the "Hat Line--" that last moment of laughter that would make someone eager to reach into his or her pocket and pull out a few dollars to put in our hat. We realized this was the perfect fusion of art and commerce, and with that, our company name was born. Everything we do adheres to this one rule: delight our audience. Make them laugh, cry, and most importantly, leave the theater changed a little for the better.

Our Philosophy

HatLine's executive team is made up of producers and writers with a combined experience of thirty-two years in the film industry. Our development process begins and ends with a keen focus on budget, packaging, and distribution. We formed HatLine to tell stories, but with every step, we ensure that the business needs of the project receive the same scrutiny as the creative needs.

In short, we make films, television, and web series designed to compete at the hightest levels in the global entertainment marketplace.
